Conditions of Short Term Vacation Rental as mandated by the County Planning Department:

• 1.) Good Neighbor Policy:
  • a. Quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM to ensure noise from the rental does not disturb adjacent neighbors.
  • b. Sounds audible beyond the property limits during non-quiet hours should not exceed typical residential noise levels.
  • c. Guest vehicles must utilize the designated onsite parking area.
  • d. Non-compliance with the Good Neighbor Policy will result in a violation.
• 2.) Revocation:
  • a. An STVR Registration and/or NUC can be revoked by the director in circumstances including:
    • i. Failure to adhere to registration conditions and/or Nonconforming Use Certificate.
    • ii. The authorized use creates a threat to community health, safety, or welfare.
    • iii. Non-compliance with HCC Chapter 25 or Planning Department Rule 23.
